QUALIFICATION PROFILE: • Required: B.S. degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or other curriculum that required significant hands-on training • Preferred: 1-3 years of post-degree hands-on experience working in a laboratory with fabrication/prototyping equipment • Experience with a diverse range of instruments, spanning chemical, mechanical, thermal characterization, and experience working with basic materials characterization and metrology equipment, such as stress-strain testers, confocal microscopes, SEMs, etc. is preferred • Preferred experience using CAD and CAM software, such as SolidWorks, including the ability to produced professional engineering drawings • Well organized, attention to detail, excellent presentation/communication skills • Curiosity and excitement to learn beyond assignments, excellent problem-solving skills.
