BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline • 7 years of mechanical engineering experience • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in machine design and/or working on a production line • Strong mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach to engineering • Solid Modeling, CAD, and EPDM workspace experience • Must have demonstrated aptitude for creative problem solving and innovation • Self-managed and strong sense of ownership and follow-through • Confident and clear communicator, both written and verbal • Great attitude and excellent team player • Microsoft Office expertise • People skills, presentations, training, customer visits, gathering feedback, etc. • Proficiency with SolidWorks • 7 years of mechanical engineering experience • Background in machine design and/or automation systems (a plus) • Experience with or knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) • Direct mechanical trade experience (Machinist, HVAC, Mechanic, Construction, Furniture, or Cabinet Making, etc.) • Local resident or relocation to the greater New Orleans area.
