What you will do · Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providers, and referral sources · Verify referral requirements, insurance authorizations, and eligibility prior to scheduling appointments · Schedule patient appointments with appropriate healthcare providers and services · Track referral status from initiation through completion and follow up on outstanding referrals · Resolve referral-related issues, including authorization delays, scheduling conflicts, and provider network concerns · Prioritize urgent referrals and escalate time-sensitive patient care needs when appropriate .
