<h2>Field Service Engineer / Field Service Technician</h2>Direct Hire Opportunity | High-Tech International ManufacturerWe are seeking a Field Service Engineer or Field Service Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a global, high-tech company delivering advanced laser technology solutions to the Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, and Scientific Research industries.<h3> Available Locations</h3><ul><li>Idaho Falls, ID</li><li>Davenport, IA</li></ul><hr/><h3> Compensation & Benefits</h3><ul><li>Pay: $32–$45/hour (based on experience)</li><li>Overtime & Per Diem Available</li><li>Full Benefits Package, including:<ul><li>Paid Time Off (PTO)</li><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance</li><li>401(k)</li><li>Short-Term & Long-Term Disability (STD/LTD)</li></ul></li><li>Relocation Package: $10,000–$15,000 for qualified candidates, which includes:<ul><li>4–8 weeks of apartment or extended-stay housing</li><li>6–8 weeks of car rental</li></ul></li></ul><hr/><h3> Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Support customers across North America as part of the technical service team</li><li>Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair company equipment to high-quality standards</li><li>Perform basic retrofits and software installations</li><li>Provide customer training on equipment operation and maintenance</li><li>Complete service documentation accurately and on time</li><li>Work independently to resolve technical issues while maintaining strong customer relationships</li><li>Participate in an initial 5–6 month training program, with ongoing training on new and existing products</li><li>Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management</li></ul><hr/><h3>✅ Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Associate degree (2-year) in Engineering or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent combination of training and experience</li><li>Strong electrical and computer systems knowledge with advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Prior experience with robotics, lasers, automation systems, or mechatronics required</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>Ability to work independently in a field-based environment</li></ul><hr/><h3>✈️ Travel Requirements</h3><ul><li>100% travel within North America to support customer sites and possible international</li><li>Occasional overnight stays required</li><li>Valid driver’s license required</li><li>Ability to obtain a U.S. passport</li><li>Must be able to rent automobiles INDH</li></ul>Powered by JazzHR
