Setting the Stage: The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for assisting the department in performing skilled preventative maintenance, repair, outfitting and servicing of a variety of company automobiles, The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for assisting the Fleet Manager to perform skilled trucks, ambulances and equipment is completed. Repairs and maintains ambulance-specific systems including Stryker PowerLOAD systems, powered stretchers, emergency lighting, sirens, inverters, shoreline charging systems, HVAC, oxygen systems, battery systems, and warning devices.
