They will work and lead multi-disciplined project teams to create industry leading designs for new projects, alterations and redevelopments on a variety of projects including transmission & distribution, generation, institutional, industrial, and manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities:
<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li style="color:black">Develop conceptual designs, execution plans, cost estimates, and project schedules for project proposals.</li><li style="color:black">Work with customers to develop project and site-specific design scope documents </li><li style="color:black">Execution of engineering activities such as:</li><li><ul style="margin-top:0in"><li style="color:black">Physical substation design including yard layouts, plans, sections and details, grounding, lightning protection, control building arrangements, interior and exterior raceways, auxiliary AC/DC power systems, and associated bills of material</li><li style="color:black">Protection and control design including panel arrangements, one lines/single lines, three lines, AC schematics, DC elementaries, equipment wiring and relay panel wiring</li><li style="color:black">Calculations for studies and reports (grounding, lightning protection, AC/DC load studies, etc.)</li><li style="color:black">Equipment specifications for procurement and/or factory acceptance testing</li></ul></li><li style="color:black">Lead coordination of design activities with other groups (Civil/Structural, SCADA, System Protection, Transmission Line, etc.)</li><li style="color:black">Suggest process, tools and/or technology implementations</li><li style="color:black">Provide leadership, training and mentoring to less experienced engineers and team members</li><li style="color:black">Regularly meet and correspond with clients or outside personnel</li><li style="color:black">Perform quality reviews for other engineers and designers</li><li style="color:black">Provide short term field support during construction</li><li style="color:black">Support business development and marketing initiatives</li><li style="color:black">Interest or active participation in professional technical committees </li><li style="color:black">All other duties as assigned</li></ul>

Qualifications:
