The Assistant Director of SGES serves as the department's primary resource for risk, financial, and policy compliance related to student government and the more than 230 student organizations recognized by ASUO, while providing leadership for staff supervision, student leader advising, and continuous improvement of departmental services. Reporting to the Director of SGES, this position interprets and enforces university, state, and federal regulations, oversees the annual Incidental Fee allocation process (~$11M), and manages risk, event safety, and records compliance, while also supervising professional staff, advising student leaders, and driving continuous improvement of departmental services.
