Minimum Requirements: Requires MD/DO and Board certification approved by one of the following certifying boards is required, where applicable to duties being performed, American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

The MDFR Medical Director shall provide medical direction for a State of Florida licensed Advanced Life Support (ALS) EMS provider and perform all duties in compliance with Chapters 401, 458, and 459, Florida Statutes, Chapter 64J, Florida Administrative Code, and all other applicable laws and regulations governing EMS operations.
