Essential Functions:• Performs initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and daily assessments• Records findings and develops/implements patient plans of care• Performs minor office-based medical and/or surgical procedures, including joint injections• Orders, interprets, and follows up on diagnostic tests including lab and radiology• Writes and administers prescriptions• Provides patient and family education• Documents all patient encounters and interventions in the EMR• Acts as a patient advocate for the population served• Attends and contributes to team development and quality initiativesPhysical Requirements:Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
