The Supervisor works closely with Emergency Department clinical staff, Business Office, Registration, Billing, and hospital administration to promote efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality patient service. The ED Clerical Supervisor provides leadership, training, and oversight to clerical staff while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, DNV requirements, HIPAA, and applicable state and federal regulations.
