Responsible for taking vital signs, venipuncture, the collection of body fluid specimens for analysis and any other procedure in which they have been trained when ordered by the proper professionals; Demonstrates organizational skills and the ability to work with the public and a general working knowledge of operating an office in a medical or clinic setting; Works under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Clinic Director and Office Manager (if applicable); Assists the clinical staff in managing a specific caseload when their training and / or experience of working in an outpatient treatment program qualifies them to do so; May also be responsible for receptionist duties that include telephone answering, recording messages, scheduling appointments and ordering supplies, as assigned, with responsibility for the accountability system for receipts and cash control; May process incoming and outgoing correspondence; and, Perform other duties as assigned.
