Responsibilities may include assisting with daily living activities, meal preparation, supervision, educational or recreational activities, encouraging social interaction, maintaining routines, and providing updates to the family and agency regarding the child’s care and progress. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working with children on the autism spectrum and understand the importance of structure, routines, communication support, and positive behavioral redirection.
