Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Cath Lab Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 or 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current cath lab experience License: Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy Must-Have: Current cath lab experience Comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation Familiarity with procedural processes and airway management Experience with cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors Experience with balloon pumps Description: The Cath Lab Techs work in pairs, with one tech scrubbing and the other monitoring hemodynamics. The lab consists of five suites, including two primarily designated for coronary cases, one for peripheral cases, one for vascular and neuro cases, and one for electrophysiology cases.
