Perform diagnostic imaging, including x-rays and ultrasounds; · Conduct laboratory and diagnostic procedures such as venipuncture, cytology, urinalysis, hematology, microbiology, ECGs, and blood pressure monitoring; · Provide anesthesia services, including pre-medication, induction, intubation, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery care; · Assist in surgical procedures and perform surgical site preparation, instrument setup, and wound closure as permitted; · Administer medications, vaccines, and biologics through multiple routes; · Deliver specialized patient care, including IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and ongoing patient monitoring; · Perform dental procedures such as prophylaxis, nerve blocks, simple extractions, and gingival suturing; · Apply splints and casts and perform other therapeutic or medical interventions as needed; and, · Communicate with clients, maintain medical records, and serve as a resource for practice staff.
