About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our dynamic Medical Affairs team in the United States.
This role delivers accurate, balanced, and clinically relevant medical information while building trusted scientific relationships with key opinion leaders across interventional pain, physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R), orthopedic spine surgery, and neurosurgery. The Medical Science Liaison Interventional Spine (MSL) serves as the primary field-based scientific expert for engaging healthcare professionals and key stakeholders involved in the management of lumbar disc herniation and related spine conditions.
The Medical Science Liaison engages in scientific exchange with medical and scientific experts, including Healthcare Professionals and Managed Markets Customers; helps to identify pre-clinical, clinical and post-marketing study investigators in alignment with corporate objectives; responds to customer inquiries to ensure focused and balanced clinical and scientific information that supports the appropriate use of products and services; delivers appropriate clinical and scientific information that clinically differentiates products; and provides clinical support and delivers data presentations regionally and nationally. Represent Organon at both national and regional medical meetings to drive awareness of Organon, support Medical Information booth activities, as needed, cultivate relationships and scientific exchange, and gain real-world insight from HCPs on data and disease area to share with internal colleagues and help inform strategy and plans.
In addition the role may engages in peer-peer scientific and health economic discussions with relevant health care decision makers (HCDMs) and influencers within US public and private health care entities, including but not limited to, managed care organizations (MCOs), specialty pharmacy providers (SPPs), pharmaceutical benefit managers (PBMs), integrated delivery networks (IDNs), at designated centers and other health care networks. Delivers scientific presentations to formulary committees and other key healthcare decision makers (HCDMs), communicating the health economic model and supporting clinical data, and serves as the primary field-based resource to address questions related to these insights.
