Patient Population & Common Diagnoses: Patients with sepsis, alcohol and IV drug abuse, overdose, suicidal ideation, delirium, gastrointestinal bleeds, strokes (with TPA), acute respiratory failure, COVID-19, diabetic ketoacidosis. Responsibilities: Managing ventilators and tracheostomies, invasive lines (art lines, CVP, Swanz-Ganz), drains, chest tubes, Foley catheter management, post-surgical and post-cardiac catheter recovery, CVVH, and CVRT.
