In the cover letter, applicants should describe their 1) teaching philosophy and graduate teaching experience, 2) supervision model and experience supervising graduate students in multiple clinical settings, 3) clinical experience in mental health counseling, 4) research interests and experience, 5) integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion across teaching, research, clinical practice, and supervision, and 6) preparation to teach and mentor students from groups that are historically underrepresented in higher education. Additionally, candidates must be license-eligible to practice in Utah, have supervisory and clinical experience in multiple clinical settings, demonstrate research potential, display a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and clinical practice, and provide evidence of successful face-to-face teaching at the graduate level.
