The Training Specialist is responsible for supporting the production, presentation, coordination, and maintenance of CAST delivered trainings within Los Angeles County on the topics of minors and youth impacted by human trafficking which includes sex trafficking, labor trafficking, and forced criminality through the lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion. This position plays a key role training social workers, probation, law enforcement, mental health, public health, educators, and community-based organizations in the development and implementation of trauma-informed best practice approaches when working with youth, including but not limited to, motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and resilience building strategies.
