Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred, 1–3 years of experience working with youth, teens, individuals who speak English as a new language, refugees, and individuals from diverse backgrounds; a combination of education and experience. Assist youth program staff with academic support activities such as facilitating communication between schools and families, arranging homework assistance, tutoring, English classes and Regents test preparation to promote academic success of the refugee students.
