Requirements of the position: • A creative outlook on how to engage and help empower adolescents • A team spirit • A sense of leadership • The ability to organize interesting, fun, and challenging activities for the adolescents on daily and weekend schedules • Interact with the Newburgh School District, specifically school counselors • Assist adolescents in becoming successful with their academics • Work pro-actively with parents • Assist with all aspects of planning menus and daily cooking • Drive members home in the afternoons, which will require a valid drivers license and a willingness to drive a large passenger van • Will need to work Saturdays since the Center is open 6 days a week • Organize activities such as spelling bees, barbeques, snowtubing, etc.
