JOB STATUS: Full-timeCLEARANCE: SecretTRAVEL: As Needed Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Military Hardware Testing Operator located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Al. Astrion has worked extensively with the Missile Sensor Test Division where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality products tailored to the needs of its clients.    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS<ul><li>Must have 7 years of applicable experience supporting engineering, design, or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or 3 years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and 4 years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; and the following additional requirements:</li><li>At least 6 years of the 7 years’ experience must include successful completion of vocational/military/technical school training in practical or industrial arts and a minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical fabrication and structural/fixture setup supporting engineering or testing of military hardware.</li><li>Will need to have experience operating military equipment. </li><li>Technician will operate machinery to include - Class VII and below forklifts, drive tanks, operate earth moving equipment, hold or obtain Class A CDL w/hazmat endorsement. </li><li>Familiar with Standard Operating Procedures. </li><li>Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once. </li><li>New hire will be capable of operating heavy equipment. </li><li>Able to lift 75 pounds.</li><li>Self-motivated and independent thinker with out-of-the-box ideas.</li><li>Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. </li><li>Must have high school diploma or GED. </li></ul> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS <ul><li>Military munitions and arms experience.  </li><li>Have experience initiating safe plans of actions. </li><li>Able to lead, participate, or provide input to a team of technicians. </li><li>Experience working with engineers and senior management required. </li><li>Exceptional customer relationship management is highly desirable.</li></ul>  RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Willing to work in adverse weather conditions. </li><li>Welding and/or mechanical skills will be utilized daily. </li><li>This individual must be able to read, understand and adhere to all applicable SOP's and TSRA's. </li><li>Some travel may be required</li></ul> #CJ#CJ
