The responsibilities for which you will be trained may include (but are not limited to): Assembly Operations : Perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, riveting, and fitting to complete assemblies and wing buildups, ensuring precise alignment of multiple parts Adhesive Application : Apply sealing, bonding agents, and other liquid adhesives according to specifications to ensure secure and durable assemblies Tool Utilization : Use a variety of power and hand tools, including aircraft mechanic tools, electric and pneumatic drills, and measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and tension meters Precision Work : Conduct precise operations in closed bays, such as drilling, reaming, shooting/bucking fasteners, and installing hi-locks Assembly Handling : Load and unload completed assemblies, while carefully handling the valuable components QualificationsEDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:Currently active-duty military and with command approval to participate in DoD''s SkillBridge program Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
