 BTCM Akron is the largest blockchain data center in Akron Ohio. We are scaling operations in and are looking for talented locals to join our team. Responsibilities: <ul><li>This role is a combination of maintenance/preventative maintenance (70%) and IT Troubleshooting (30%)</li><li>Install and maintain data center devices including servers and/or software</li><li>Complete daily walkthroughs, inventory, and system checks</li><li>Maintain records of all events and logs and submit daily and weekly reports to the off-site team</li><li>Provide practical troubleshooting solutions and get ahead of problems before they start with basic hardware (ASIC)</li><li>Receive and ship data center equipment</li><li>Rack and install incoming equipment in a timely manner</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills</li><li>Positive and professional demeanor</li><li>Training will be provided. Entry level candidates are welcomed</li><li>Ability to lift and carry 40-70 pounds</li><li>Ability to walk long distances (from one side of the center to the other and back frequently based on need)</li><li>Ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures and noisy environment</li></ul>
