What you’ll need Required • High school graduate or equivalent, • Demonstrated experience in maintenance of mining or heavy industrial equipment (communication systems, transformers, switchgear, distribution panels, jumbo drills, bolters, locomotives, conveyors, crushers, hoists, pumps, compressors, or similar), • Strong diagnostic skills with all types of electrical systems, • Proficiency with electrical test equipment, such as multimeters and megohmmeters, • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical data, • Basic computer skills (MS Office, maintenance software), and familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), • Proven commitment to safe work practices and risk management, • MSHA 40-hour training upon commencement (or provide current 5000-23), • Must pass physical and drug screen. Work Environment While performing the essential duties relating to this role, you’ll frequently be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, use hands to handle or feel objects and tools; reach with arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and communicate clearly with others.
