In the role of the BIM Model Manager, you will have the opportunity to: <ul><li>Manage the digital model environment and deliverables for an entire project </li><li>Have an advanced understanding of how all disciplines interact and how construction documents are produced </li><li>Work directly with the Project Manager to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP), while managing the deliverables outlined within </li><li>Begin the project initiation procedure, establishing the server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the project scope </li><li>Execute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects </li><li>Provide technical support, while communicating the deliverable schedule to the project team </li><li>Maintain quality, this individual will monitor the model health and coordination processes of the project, from the planning phase thru issue of construction documents </li><li>Execute these tasks with minimal oversight by the Digital Delivery Leads and provide guidance to project team members </li><li>Develop and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) </li><li>Establish the document management system and maintain the server infrastructure for multi-discipline projects </li><li>Ensure the team has the appropriate software, versions, access, and training needed to execute the project requirements </li><li>Generate and maintain model setup including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, sheets, and general models, to accommodate the disciplines and project requirements </li><li>Monitor and maintain company standards and model health </li><li>Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the project team to ensure optimal quality control through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes </li><li>Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange process at predetermined milestones </li><li>Project archiving at submittals and closeout </li><li>Engage in close and effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clients </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in developing and using automation software products and procedures for design </li><li>Experience in development and management of diverse teams </li><li class="MsoNormal">Preference given to local candidates </li></ul>#LI-MV3 Required Qualifications <ul><li>Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience </li><li>A minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 3 years digital delivery (model management) experience </li><li>Comprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systems </li><li>Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure </li><li>Advanced skillset of 3D Coordination tools </li><li>Advanced skillset of Microsoft Office products and communication tools </li><li>Familiar with industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications </li><li>Familiar with basic automation and programming applications for efficiencies </li><li>Familiar with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applications </li><li>Familiar with content creation and management concepts </li><li>Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills are essential </li><li>Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively serve as a first line of technical support </li></ul>What We Believe HDR is our company.
