The team also manages the automation around the daily large-scale Monte-Carlo simulations used to value the 300K+ customer accounts we manage. We are seeking team members to help us maintain and enhance a best-in-class valuation framework. The team is also responsible for driving automation to financial management reports and designing dashboards to automate market risk monitoring. Reporting to Head of Model Validation you will perform in depth testing for all liability models, data systems and automation processes. About the Role You will create, document and execute test plans for: economic product models, data systems and automation processes. Assesses, documents and communicates financial impact of model changes to the relevant constituents across the division and enterprise. Provide feedback to developers and model owners to improve business requirements, system specifications and implementation strategy. Our ideal candidate will have experience in a financial engineering capacity however we are open to candidates with no financial experience. Responsibilities <ul><li>Write and/or review System Change Requests for completeness and accuracy. </li><li>Design valuation model and database test plans, perform testing and provide detailed supporting documentation. </li><li>Assist in coordinating valuation model and database launches to Production. </li><li>Perform data extraction and run data integrity checks on policy-holder information extracted from Administrative Systems and/or Data Warehouses for use in risk management modeling software. </li><li>Periodically assist in defining requirements for enhancing data management process </li></ul>Skills and Qualifications <ul><li>Detail and process oriented. </li><li>Degree in computer science, engineering, finance, computational science or math. </li><li>3+ years of business experience, preferably with a global bank or in an insurance company. </li><li>Knowledge of and experience in creating production quality financial models and databases. </li><li>Programming experience in C++ /Python/C#/MS SQL. </li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>The ability to work within a large and diverse team. </li></ul>Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
