As a Hydraulic Modeling Engineer, you will directly contribute to the planning, design, and construction of water infrastructure projects, with a specific focus on water distribution systems. This opportunity involves working with a growing team of hydraulic modelers on a variety of projects locally, regionally, and nationwide.Your Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and calibrate hydraulic models for water distribution systems, and analyze model results to develop recommendations for clients</li><li>Assist with water system master planning and design projects</li><li>Perform booster station analyses to assess capacity, reliability, and energy efficiency</li><li>Develop future water demand projections to support planning efforts</li><li>Design and deliver digital tools, dashboards, and data solutions</li><li>Prepare clear, concise technical reports and presentations</li><li>Analyze and process large, complex datasets to support engineering decisions</li><li>Conduct fieldwork and site visits as needed from design through construction</li><li>Collaborate with project teams and clients to support successful project delivery</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. program</li><li>Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred</li><li>2–5 years of relevant professional experience in hydraulic modeling, water/wastewater systems, or related engineering disciplines</li><li>Strong interest in hydraulic modeling and the water industry</li><li>Working knowledge of hydraulic principles, system analyses, and modeling methodologies</li><li>Experience with hydraulic modeling software, or a strong desire to learn platforms such as InfoWater, WaterGEMS, or EPANET</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills</li></ul>Benefits SummaryAt OHM Advisors, our people are our greatest asset.
