As an MRI Technologist under the direction of a radiologist: You will demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment and obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretationYou will facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast materialYou will prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicatedYou will document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on timeYou will maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologistYou will check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with necessary suppliesYou will accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care Qualifications: · Registered Technologist by the American Registry or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) · State of Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) · 1-3 years of experience · Basic Life Support (BLS) certification · Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, computer, clerical skills Benefits HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
