This includes painting and replacing equipment.</li><li>General maintenance duties include, but are not limited to, gathering and emptying trash; servicing, cleaning, and supplying restrooms; cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming; stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing floors; cleaning windows; dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, and office machines; sweep outdoor walkways, and keep grounds free of litter.</li><li>Follow the manufacturer’s procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.</li><li>As assigned, open or close the facility following established procedures.</li><li>Assist and follow instructions for set-up and break-down for events.</li></ul>Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities<ul><li>High degrees of self-motivation and the ability to work independently over long periods of time within the scope of established rules and regulations.</li><li>Ability to apply basic knowledge in multiple areas of carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance, groundskeeping and equipment repair.</li><li>Working knowledge of building materials, methods, and proper use of tools.</li><li>Ability to watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.</li><li>Ability to determine the type of tool or equipment needed to do a job.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school graduate or equivalent</li><li>Technical school or graduate in related field preferred.</li><li>1-3 years of general maintenance preferred.</li></ul>Other Requirements<ul><li>Must pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing</li></ul>
