The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, client-centered music therapy, supporting individuals with disabilities, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve desired therapeutic outcomes. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Provide individual and group therapeutic music sessions in client’s home and community settings.</li><li>Maintain reliable transportation to travel to client locations.</li><li>Assess new clients through observation, interviews, and collaboration with clients and their support teams.</li><li>Request desired units for therapy services and submit outcomes to case managers and teams.</li><li>Set and adjust schedules based on unit allotment, ensuring timely and effective services.</li><li>Collect and maintain necessary documentation including ISP, Intake Applications, and Assessments.</li><li>Continuously review and maintain current ISP, Quarterly Reports, and stay informed on clients' medical needs and risks.</li><li>Write, review, and revise therapeutic outcomes and goals based on client needs and progress.</li><li>Complete quarterly reports, include progress toward and revision of goals, observations and client participation, upload to BDDS</li><li>Make necessary accommodations for individual needs, such as communication, choice-making, and activity schedules.</li><li>Document observations, participation, progress, and client reactions after each session, ensuring accurate and timely progress notes.</li><li>Track therapy units and adjust schedules to ensure proper usage, preventing overages or underutilization.</li><li>Regularly collaborate with clients’ support teams, sharing feedback and updates on therapy progress and concerns.</li><li>Maintain MT-BC (Music Therapy-Board Certification) by engaging in continuing education, conferences, and staying informed about community and therapeutic resources. </li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy or a related field.</li><li>Active Music Therapist – (MT-BC) credentials. </li></ul> Preferred: <ul><li>Familiarity with the Individualized Service Plan (ISP) and Behavior Support Plan (BSP) documentation and review processes.</li><li>Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating a strong understanding of their needs and abilities.</li><li>Ability to work independently, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. </li></ul> Compensation: <ul><li>$46 per hour</li></ul>Benefits:  <ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Full-Time or Part-Time options available</li><li>Office/clinic space available</li><li>Mentoring/supervision available</li><li>Employee/Contractor options available</li><li>Instruments available for Music Therapists to check out to use. </li></ul> How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume, MT-BC certification, and a cover letter detailing their experience working with individuals with disabilities and music therapy practice.
