Responsibilities include assessing and documenting students educational needs to develop and implement appropriate instructional plans; developing appropriate instructional materials; integrating assistive technology into classroom activities; and utilizing innovative and research-based instructional techniques and practices. Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess one or more of the following: Master's degree in Visually Impaired (K-12) Background in visual disabilities, intellectual disability, behavior disorders, or interrelated special education, cognitive disabilities, autism, orthopedic impairments, and other sensory disabilities.
