Applicants should be comfortable performing live, maintaining comedic timing, and collaborating closely with other entertainers and production staff.</div><hr/><div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div><ul><li><div>Perform as a <strong>musician and vocalist</strong> in live Comedy Barn productions, maintaining the high entertainment standard associated with our brand.</div></li><li><div>Demonstrate <strong>strong musical versatility</strong>, including harmony blending, stage interaction, and accompaniment as needed.</div></li><li><div>Work collaboratively with the <strong>Comedy Barn Band</strong>, other performers, and technical crew to ensure cohesive and engaging performances.</div></li><li><div>Participate in <strong>rehearsals</strong>, <strong>sound checks</strong>, and occasional promotional or media events.</div></li><li><div>Maintain professionalism both on and off stage, upholding the family-friendly image and values of The Comedy Barn.</div></li><li><div>Adapt to a <strong>varied performance schedule</strong>, which may include multiple shows per day, weekends, and holidays.</div></li><li><div>Support show flow as needed-this may include light hosting or assisting with comedic transitions between acts.</div></li></ul><hr/><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><ul><li><div>Proven <strong>experience as a live musician and vocalist</strong>, preferably in theater, theme park, cruise ship, or live entertainment settings.</div></li><li><div>Strong <strong>vocal ability</strong> (lead and/or harmony) and proficiency on at least one musical instrument.</div></li><li><div>Excellent <strong>stage presence</strong>, charisma, and ability to engage audiences of all ages.</div></li><li><div>Strong sense of <strong>timing, collaboration, and adaptability</strong> in a fast-paced performance environment.</div></li><li><div><strong>Hosting/Emcee experience</strong> is a plus but not required.</div></li><li><div>Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</div></li></ul><hr/><div><strong>Additional Information</strong></div><ul><li><div>The Comedy Barn operates <strong>year-round</strong>, with performances scheduled throughout all major holidays.</div></li><li><div>While most performance days include <strong>one show</strong>, certain days may include <strong>two to three performances</strong>.</div></li><li><div>Contract terms, performance schedule, and compensation will be discussed during the interview process.</div></li></ul><hr/><div><strong>Application Process</strong></div><div>Interested applicants should complete the <strong>Comedy Barn Performer Application</strong> and submit their materials for consideration.</div><div>After submitting your application, please email your <strong>Resume and Performance Reels</strong> to: <strong>robert.hazlette@gcipf.com</strong></div><div>Please include <strong>"Performer – Musician/Vocalist 2026 Season"</strong> in your email subject line.</div><hr/><div><strong>About The Comedy Barn Theater</strong></div><div>For over 30 years, The Comedy Barn Theater has entertained millions of guests in the heart of Pigeon Forge, TN.
