As a Lien Negotiator in our Medical Lien Negotiations department, you will be responsible for finalizing the case and providing clients with the best recovery possible by negotiating post-settlement liens including health insurance liens, hospital liens, private medical provider liens, and state and federal medical provider liens. Communicate and negotiate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other lien holders to resolve liens and reduce debts.

<h3>Description</h3> <div>We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lien Negotiator/Analyst to join our team! Overview:
The Trailer Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating the movement and analyzing the inventory of the company’s trailers. This role involves overseeing the delivery of trailers from manufacturers to final destinations across the company’s footprint, as well as managing customer deliveries. The Specialist utilizes strong organization, process management, and relationship-building skills to effectively track inventory, communicate with brokers, and ensure timely deliveries while managing damaged claims.  Additionally, the Specialist is responsible for analyzing data and implementing strategies to optimize trailer movements, reduce freight costs, and enhance freight protection. 

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Oversee and direct the delivery of all trailers moves from suppliers and to customers to maintain day-to-day operations.</li><li>Act as the liaison and negotiator with carriers, insurance, and service while fostering business relationships.</li><li>Analyze and record quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency of trailer moves.</li><li>Correspond with carriers, suppliers, management, and sales teams on all logistical details.</li><li>Input, monitor, and upgrade logistics software.</li><li>Use data analysis from the logistics software to find optimal efficiency needed to move trailers.</li><li>Identify potential risks and challenges in trailer moves, such as delays, damages, or compliance issues, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of trailer movements, delivery schedules, and associated costs. Prepare regular reports for management to review performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies governing trailer transportation, including safety standards, insurance requirements, and contractual obligations.</li><li>Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline logistics operations, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.</li><li>Other Duties: The Trailer Logistics Analyst may be required to perform additional duties as assigned by manage to support the efficient operations of our Corporate Trailer’s department.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or related field.  </li><li>Experience in the logistics/supply chain industry preferred.</li><li>Experience in data analysis and negotiation; preferably within a logistics or supply chain context.</li><li>Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously, setting timelines, and independently prioritizing workloads. </li><li>Advanced understanding of market and freight conditions.</li><li>Exceptional organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.</li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in communication, negotiation, and relationship building, with a track record of fostering positive relations with vendors, external partners, and internal departments. Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and dealership software.</li><li>Ability to identify problems, gather relevant data, analyze information, and develop actionable solutions to improve processes and policies. </li><li>Familiarity with industry specific software systems, ERPs, or inventory management systems preferred.</li><li>Previous experience with trailer logistics and inventory management preferred. </li></ul>

Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is $30.28 to $37.96.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Recommends the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to maintain satisfactory relations between management and labor that ensures uniform and equitable application.</li><li>Supports LBT’s chief negotiator for labor negotiations; recommends negotiation strategies; presents and clarifies negotiation issues with the Executive Director/VP of Organizational Development and Administration.</li><li>Reviews proofreads, documents, including collective bargaining agreements (CBA) employee relations-related forms, and reports for accuracy and completeness. </li><li>Supports LBT’s managers in administering the CBA. Interprets and advises management on employee and labor relations matters to ensure consistent policy and contract interpretation. Attends step hearings for grievances.  </li><li>Oversees phases of labor arbitration, including preparation of evidence. Provides leadership and recommendations to staff and/or management for conflict resolution activities including arbitration, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution for grievances.  </li><li>Ensures that labor/management meetings occur as directed and maintains information, agendas, and other related materials. </li><li>Oversees compliance reviews for labor and employee relations as well as develops strategies to resolve issues. </li><li>Researches and prepares attorney-client privileged information and reports related to claims to such agencies as Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), Public Employee Relations Board (PERB). </li><li>Coordinates with legal counsel on arbitrations, employment law matters, and related litigation. </li><li>Presents complex analyses, reports, trends, activities as well as labor law changes and/or interpretations to LBT’s executive leadership team. </li><li>Analyze situations, identify problems, and recommend solutions and strategies. Anticipate long-range effects and financial implications of current and projected policies and procedures.</li><li>Develop metrics and implement a plan that tracks positive relations strategies and criteria.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>
