p>What winning looks like: • Lead and develop collaborative multidisciplinary wound care teams • Travel to scheduled locations weekly for wound rounds and house calls, in an assigned region • Provide the highest quality skin and wound care services to patients • Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic studies to assess changes to patients' health care needs • Perform bedside wound care skills, including wound assessment, dressing application, pressure relief, pain/odor control, and minor surgical procedures • Track the progress of wound healing and document timely in UWH's own wound care EMR • Develop a treatment plan for skin and wound conditions based on the individual needs of each patient, and UWH's Clinical Practice Guidelines • Collaborate virtually with our medical leadership, including board-certified physicians and surgeons specializing in wound care, dermatology, podiatry, vascular surgery, and infectious disease.
