LPN/LVN also provides direct resident care and assigns duties to subordinate nursing staff as appropriate. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following represents the essential functions of the LPN/LVN's role. This list is intended to be a general description of duties and responsibilities; however, it is subject to change according to the needs of the facility determined by the Director of Nursing, Administrator, and/or corporate designee.<ul><li>Ensures facility residents receive high-quality, individualized care. </li><li>Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.</li><li>Assesses and reports resident changes in condition to the DON, Charge Nurse, attending physician, and responsible party as applicable. Documents change, notification of change, and new treatment orders/ plans.
