Unit Overview: Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you'll care for a diverse and complex patient population, including: <ul><li> Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections </li><li> Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries </li><li> Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program </li><li> High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow cases </li></ul> As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , our unit offers exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and cutting-edge care. Provides ongoing assessment of the patient and takes appropriate actions when changes occur.
