At Kimble we strive for perfection in everything that we do.Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Valid CDL with Medical Card, preferred</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and EPA guidelines</li><li>Previous operations experience in the trucking industry.</li><li>3 or more years of prior management of people in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, both internal and external to the department.</li><li>Ability to competently utilize a computer and use it effectively</li><li>Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.</li></ul>Responsibilities and Duties:<ul><li>Exercises discretion in assigning and supervising CDL drivers operating solid waste collection equipment on the assigned shift. </li><li>Monitors daily production of the assigned shift. </li><li>Ensures all drivers perform and complete daily activities with routes professionally and timely. </li><li>Conducts field inspections and audits of all assigned personnel to ensure proper work procedures are compliant with Company and other regulations. </li><li>Uses discretion to address customer complaints in a timely manner and reviewed with General Manager. </li><li>Supervise dispatchers and/or drivers as needed for assigned areas.</li><li>Oversees compliance programs, including but not limited to environmental, DOT and OSHA.</li><li>Investigates all incidents, completes incident reports and recommends and issues discipline.</li><li>Monitors driver hours to verify compliance with DOT hour requirements.</li><li>Keep Red Tag Calendar for Manager and Supervisors.</li><li>Work with drivers and Routing Department to optimize routes.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring proper staffing on the assigned shift, which includes assisting with new hires and terminations of existing employees.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring new drivers are properly trained.</li><li>Supplies Maintenance Manager with Daily Route Matrix to ensure proper equipment needs are met daily.</li><li>Reviews schedule of routine repairs with Maintenance Manager.</li><li>Reviews DMRs with Maintenance Manager to ensure completion in a timely manner.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Trucking Manager to maintain day-to-day operations.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>401(k) retirement plan with match</li><li>Comprehensive medical benefits coverage, dental plans and vision coverage.</li><li>Employee assistance program (EAP)</li><li>Health care and dependent care spending accounts (FSA)</li><li>Life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment insurance.</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Employee Discount Program</li></ul>Schedule: Day shift and Night Shift Available
