Role and Responsibilities: Reads work order to locate cutting requirements on stock, to determine dimensions and tolerances, and to determine metal to be cut, type of blade to be used, blade tension, cutting speed, feed rate, table angles, and positions of table stops and guides. Essential Functions: The Saw operator is responsible for setting up and operates saws to cut specified lengths in titanium, stainless, or other metal billets or parts.
