Clinical skills required in IV therapy (including central/PICC line care, blood product administration, IV starts), respiratory care (ventilator management, chest tubes, airway management, tracheostomy care, extubation, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring), neuro care (craniotomy, EVD, spine surgery, stroke scale assessment), cardiac care (antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, vasopressors, opioids, reversal agents, arterial line management, dysrhythmia management, CPR), and pre/post-op care (EKG, consent, cath/endoscopy procedures, straight catheterization). Surgical specialties include ICU, trauma surgery, pediatrics, bariatric, breast, colorectal, dental, emergency general surgery, ENT, GI, gynecology, gyn-oncology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, podiatry, pulmonology, and urology.
