Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise+ Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies+ Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time+ Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service+ Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)+ Guide customers through shopping or checkout+ Complete other duties as assigned**Minimum Qualifications**+ 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information+ 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets+ Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)+ Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties+ Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation**Preferred Qualifications**+ 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience+ Bi-lingual skills+ Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)Lowe's commitment to growth and teamwork extends to the community as well.
