PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Submit AES (automatic export system) filing with CBP Preparing necessary documents and complete customs clearance procedures Manage shipment exceptions and troubleshoot issues as they arise Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations Conduct financial procedures and operating metrics (Detention management, automation objectives, expedite decisions, etc.) Contact carrier to obtain status of load-tendered; continue monitoring the shipment via provided systems for on-time pick-up, transit, and delivery Notify appropriate groups of any ocean transportation related issues, and work with Intermarket to resolve issues maintaining affiliate satisfaction and on time delivery Ensure the proper appointment schedule based on the booking confirmation of ocean carriers. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field 3+ years of experience in compliance, freight forwarding preferred and international logistics experience Salary: $46,906.20 to $67,250.00 per year Bonus Eligibility: Yes The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
