Required Qualifications: Certification in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; 3 years of IR experience; applicable to roles in cardiac telemetry or ICU; ability to read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips; experience with post cardiac procedural care, including ablations, cardiac catheterizations, post-op day 1 open heart, and permanent pacemaker placements; proficiency in administering and titrating IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone. The unit features advanced equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, SCD machines, Hill Rom beds, dinamap monitors, Wound Vacs, temporary pacemakers, telemetry monitors, EKG machines, bladder scanners, Doppler, and Imobile communication devices.
