As a Paralegal within the Government Advice and Elected Officials Practice Group of the CivilServices Division, your primary focus involves assisting and working with attorneys assigned to the dozens of County clients/departments providing legal advice and representation on issues ranging from statutory authority, procurement, open meeting law, and public records law, among many other legal issues. Assist attorneys with client communications, witness interviews, depositions, civil court rules and proceedings, and trial/hearing preparation, including preparation of witness summaries, organization of exhibits, securing evidence and documentation, deposition abstracts, subpoenas and witness notifications .
