ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform work in train operations, including without limitation, coupling and uncoupling cars, inspecting trains, throwing switches, locking and unlocking derails, coupling and uncoupling air hoses, relieving other Train Operators, training other Train Operators, receiving train orders and/or track warrants, receiving and delivering waybills and bills of lading, contacting customers, driving company vehicles and other duties as assigned . Provide and receive various forms of communication, both written and verbal, with management, dispatch, customer service, customers and connecting railroads; concerning railway cars movement and placement (switch lists, interchange reports, etc.) .
