Care for high acuity OB patients including hypertension, magnesium administration, C-sections (33% rate), preterm labor, insulin drips, vaginal deliveries, epidurals, inductions, antepartum patients, PROM, multiple births, and postpartum hemorrhage. Unit support includes CNAs, LPN scrub techs (NRP certified), receptionist/HUC, free-floating charge nurse, resource RN (staffing dependent), and scheduled break nurse coverage.
