The Development and Events Manager will be responsible for the planning of events, both fundraising and donor development, including the acquisition of sponsors and auction items for special events, managing volunteers needed to support events, and participating in other marketing and promotional opportunities that increase event visibility, generate community support, and support department and organization goals and objectives. The role involves regular interaction with employees at all levels, donors, the public (walk-ins), and vendors, and requires a high degree of professionalism, strong communication skills, and discretion.
