This aligns with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Mission Statement to honor America's Veterans by providing exceptional healthcare that improves their health and well-being. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Typical shift M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm; rotating call (approximately every 6 weeks)</li><li>Responsible for all functions which fall under the scope of care of the Diagnostic Imaging Service</li><li>Conducts interpretations on Diagnostic Imaging, MRI, CT, US, IR, or NM (any or all)</li><li>Defines Modality Specific Protocolling</li><li>Consults with Ordering Providers</li><li>Reviews Orders and defines imaging protocols</li><li>Assists in Fee Basis Consult Review</li><li>Performs non-IR Invasive Procedures</li><li>Resident supervision/education</li><li>May qualify for the Education Debt Reduction Program (up to $200K over a 5-year period)</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive Salary: $325,000 - $375,000</li><li>Generous Paid Time Off: 50-55 days per year, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and potential 5-day paid absence for CME.</li><li>Retirement Benefits: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and a federal 401K with up to 5% contributions by VA.</li><li>Comprehensive Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care, with many programs carrying into retirement.</li><li>Flexibility: No physician employment contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting.</li><li>Professional Development: Up to 5 days paid leave and reimbursement of $1,000 per year.</li><li>Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided</li></ul>Preferred Experience:<ul><li>Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology</li><li>Experience as a general radiologist with experience in body imaging and nuclear medicine</li><li>Must be a U.S. Citizen.
