Under the direction of a qualified physician, performs imaging procedures to produce scanograms and measures
concentration of radionuclides in specified body areas, according to technical and processional standard. Measures
radioactive dosage prescribed for patient with dose calibrator. Positioning of equipment and patient to produce
diagnostic quality images. Administration of pre-medication and radiopharmaceuticals. EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran

</li><li><ul style="list-style:none"><li>2.1 Completes safety modules each year along with HIPAA notice.

</li><li><ul style="list-style:none"><li>3.1 Ability to be flexible with work schedule and coordinate workflow.
</li></ul></li><li>4. Patient Interaction

</li><li><ul style="list-style:none"><li>5.1 Practice ALARA to maintain low radiation dose to self and others.

</li><li><ul style="list-style:none"><li>6.1 Demonstrates competence and proficiency with all Nuclear Medicine equipment.
</li></ul></li><li>7. Processing
</li><li><ul style="list-style:none"><li>7.1 Maintains the ability to perform all required processing procedures on the Syngo computer.
</li></ul></li><li>8. Quality Control
</li><li><ul style="list-style:none"><li>8.1 Regularly inspects and performs calibration procedures before equipment is used for patient examination. These are performed daily, weekly, and monthly.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION Bachelors Degree, Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program. EXPERIENCE One to two years experience LICENSURE Licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Health. Certified ARRT (N) and/ or CNMT registered. CPR certification (BLS) required and ACLS preferred.

Requires thorough knowledge of physics and anatomy in MRI Satisfactory completion of a formal school of radiological technology approved by AMA.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION Requires thorough knowledge of physics and anatomy in MRI Satisfactory completion of a formal school of radiological technology approved by AMA. Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist EXPERIENCE Minimum of one year MRI experience required. Prior experience in ultrasound, CT, nuclear medicine, DSA, cross-sectional anatomy and computer operations is preferred. LICENSURE Registration by the ARRT and state licensed. CPR certification (BLS) required
