Patient- take vital signs (BP, Wt., Ht.), intake/medical history on patient, prepare patient for doctors' examination or procedure, position instruments and equipment, assist physician/provider with exams & procedures, clean exam room after patient and set up for next patient. Lab duties- draw blood, collect prepare and send specimen to lab, print all labs, give to provider to review and sign off on, change sharps container, follow up quest for any missing lab results/test/specimens and order quest lab supplies.
