Function/Duties of Position: As a resource role, duties could include staffing the RN triage line for a division, performing direct patient care in clinic including providing families with education, and/or performing clinical administration tasks such as coordinating patient care plans with the physician or advanced practitioner. Department Overview: The nurse in this position will provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in an ambulatory setting across the following medical and surgical specialties: Cardiology, General Pediatrics, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Infectious disease, Immunology, Pulmonology, Urology, Orthopedics, and General Surgery.
